The latest issue of drugnet Ireland is out https://hrb.newsweaver.ie/drugnet/1sanxp2f35m
It includes a supplement on the Citizens' Assembly on drug use
This is very concerning on multiple levels. Alcohol costs 11% of health care budget. Understandable why industry seeks to meet with health policy makers presumably to try to thwart public health measures but why would such a senior health official think it appropriate to meet?
By the way, the HSE have an excellent policy on not engaging with alcohol industry going back to 2015.
